CNA Getting Started - Set Up: FireFox to Print Checks in ConnectNow Accounting

If your checks will not print in ConnectNow Accounting when using FireFox, please do the following:

You must have Adobe Reader installed on your computer to print Checks or PDF reports. Here is a link for Adobe Acrobat Reader DC

After Adobe DC is installed:

Click the three horizontal bars in the upper right corner of your firefox browser.

Select Options.

  

In the gray menu bar on the left, click Content. If the word Content is not present on the gray bar, click here for further instructions on settings in the new updated firefox. Otherwise, click the Exceptions button to the right of Pop-Ups

Enter the URL (web address) you use to access the ConnectNow Accounting Site, then click Allow and Save Changes.

Click the option for Applications. In the Search window, type the word Portable. If anything except Use Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is in the Action Column, click the down-arrow to the right of Portable Document Format (PDF) and select Use Adobe Acrobat Reader DC as shown in the screen print below. There is no save. You may close the screen.

Settings in the new, updated firefox

Select the Privacy & Security option from the gray menu bar. Scroll down until you see the Permissions header. To the right of Block pop-up windows, click Exceptions.

 

 

 Enter the URL (web address) you use to access the ConnectNow Accounting Site, then click Allow and Save Changes.

 

 

 

 

Now, select the General option from the gray menu on the left. Scroll down until you find the header, Files and Applications. Under Applications, in the Search window, type the word Portable.

If anything except Use Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is in the Action Column, click the down-arrow to the right of Portable Document Format (PDF) and select Use Adobe Acrobat Reader DC as shown in the screen print below. There is no save. You may close the screen.
