CNA L&P - Checks: How to record a Hand-Written Check, EFT, or an Already Paid Transaction (Assign Check Number)

When a check has already been created, either electronically, hand written, or printed but later deleted to correct the line item, you may add or re-add the check through the Assign Check Number button in the Bill.

Always use letters such as EFT before any Electronic Fund Transfers to avoid throwing your check numbers out of sequence. If you deleted the check, re-use the same check number as the one you deleted.

After clicking Save, you must submit the Bill.
