The CMS Online/FTP Backup Site is a service that is provided to our clients who have purchased an Annual Support contract.
From your CMS System, click File | Restore. Click the dot next to Online or FTP Restore, then click the up arrow at File Name.
You’ll receive a message telling you to that we will now check your Backup History information. If you have DSL/Cable internet, just click OK.
If you have Dial Up internet, connect prior to clicking OK.
If you receive a message regarding a Windows Security Alert at PFW Runtime, please click the UNBLOCK button.
NOTE: If you receive a message a message from Norton AntiVirus believing the FTP site is a Trojan Horse, you can modify the Norton Settings by following their instructions by clicking here.
Highlight the backup file name you'd like to restore and click the Select button. Click OK on the Restore Display.
Prior to restoring the data, the system will make a backup to your CMS working directory called B4REST.ZIP. Click OK.
NOTE: This B4REST.ZIP backup file is used to recover data prior to restoring data should you accidentally restore the wrong file or if the backup file is corrupted. The B4REST.ZIP file is created only once within a five day span of restoring data, so you do not accidentally overwrite the B4REST.ZIP if you attempt to restore several "bad" backup files (to ensure the integrity of your original data set).
Once the backup to the hard disk has completed, the Restore process will proceed. Click Yes to continue.
The system will show you a progress bar during the restore process. Please be patient with this process as it may take a few minutes.
Click OK when the system tells you the restore completed successfully.
