PROBLEM: You want to install CMS on a Terminal Services Server.
SOLUTION: From your Terminal Services Server, click Start | Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs and click the Add New Programs button on the left side of the display.
At Add a program from CD-ROM or Floppy Disk, click the CD or Floppy button on the right.
Follow the Single User instructions to install CMS on the computer and restore any backed up or converted data.
Once CMS has been successfully installed, exit out of anything CMS, and click My Computer | Local Disk C: drive | Program Files | Corel.
You will need a separate copy of the PRIVATE folder for each user of the Terminal Services for CMS People Products, and a separate copy of the FINPRIV folder for each user of Terminal Services for the CMS Fund Accounting System.

NOTE: Contact Microsoft for complete Terminal Services Licensing information to ensure licensure compliance.
NOTE: Microsoft Server 2003 may need an updated version of the Borland Database Engine to function properly. If you are installing on Server 2003, contact firstname.lastname@example.org for this updated version of BDE.
Right click the CMS People Products and/or CMS Fund Accounting icon on each user's desktop and choose Properties. Go to the Shortcut tab and look for the Target.
Click into the target and change the following:
...\Paradox Runtime\Private" to ...\Paradox Runtime\PRIV1"
...\Paradox Runtime\FinPriv" to ...\Paradox Runtime\FinPriv1"
So now the entire target should read:
"C:\Program Files\Corel\Paradox Runtime\PDXRWN32.exe" -C START.SDL -Q -D C:\WINDOWS\PFWRUN.INI -P "C:\Program Files\Corel\Paradox Runtime\PRIV1" -W C:\CMS4WIN\
"C:\Program Files\Corel\Paradox Runtime\PDXRWN32.exe" -C START.SDL -Q -D C:\WINDOWS\PFWRUN.INI -P "C:\Program Files\Corel\Paradox Runtime\FinPriv1\" -W C:\FIN4WIN\
Once that's complete, click Apply | OK/Close.
Change the icon properties so each user has a unique reference to the Private/FINPRIV folders.
