CMS People - Code Selections are not displaying correct codes in Lists and Labels

PROBLEM:  After installing CMS in a Windows Vista environment, the Member Status, Participation Status, Class and Activity Code Selections are not displaying the correct codes when selecting codes in List and Labels.

SOLUTION:  The User Account Control (UAC) in Windows Vista may not be registered properly.  The UAC may be prompting for permission to continue, even though the UAC is turned off.

Exit CMS and all applications.  Click Start | Control Panel | User Accounts.

Select the User Account and choose Turn User Account Control on or off.

The box at "Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer" may not be checked.  Check this box and click OK.  Then Restart you computer.

After the computer has restarted, go back to Start | Control Panel | User Accounts | Turn User Account Control on or off.

Remove the checkmark at "Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer" and click OK.  Restart the computer.

After the computer has restarted, you should be able to make a code selection and see the correct codes.
