CMS Fund Accounting - How Can I Add/Remove The Social Security Number on Payroll Checks?

PROBLEM: You would like to control whether or not the Social Security Number for each employee prints on their payroll check. 

SOLUTION:  Process payroll as normal (enter timecards, calculate payroll, print payroll summary) and at the point of Print Paychecks/Direct Deposit, select the Paygroup for that payroll, set the Payment Method to Print Checks, and click Next.

Click the Change Check Form button in the upper left corner of the display.

Place a checkmark in the box at Print Social Security Number on check if you would like it to print.

Remove the checkmark in the box at Print Social Security Number on check if you do not want it to print.

Click OK.

Continue printing and posting checks as normal.
