How to fix simple data entry errors in a Quick Entry Batch
During data entry, the software works in the background to validate your input to ensure that it is correct. The application counts simple errors and flags them for you. For example, if you enter the wrong envelope number, the software increments the amount in the Invalid field, located at the top of the batch entry form, and displays a message like the following next to the entry to let you know that the envelope number does not exist or is not assigned:
To fix this type of error, type the correct value (in this case envelope number) into the field. Then, press the Tab or Enter key to submit the change.
