How to pay a new employee who did not work the full period

In the Payroll Process, you can adjust the Hours/Units, Rate, and Pay Period Amount. For hourly employees adjusting the Hour/Units amount will calculate the Pay Period Amount. For a salaried employee, you will need to determine how much their gross pay should be and enter it as the Pay Period Amount
