To customize the receipt sent to your donors click on the Organization drop-down located in the top-right of your screen and click on Email Templates.
NOTE: if you do not see the Email Templates option under the Organization tab in your control panel, please contact the primary manager for your online giving account. Your user permissions will need to be updated to include this option.
There are a series of formatting options available to you
1.) Mouse-over the icon to see a tool-tip to let you know more about that feature. You can update your receipt message in the lower box/
2.) Take advantage of the predefined field's options shown at the top of the page. For example, if you want to use the donor’s name in your email receipt you can type [fullname] (exactly as it is shown at the top of the screen) to have their name populate here. This is a great way to add personalization to your donation receipts to make a good connection with your donors. Once you have made all your changes, click on [Save] to update your receipt.
All donors giving through online, mobile, or kiosk giving will receive an emailed receipt. A donor account does not need to be created to receive a donation receipt, as the donor email is required to complete a donation.
Text donors will receive a receipt of giving via text message.
