Note: MinistryID is only compatible for Parish and Diocesan staff. Parishioners signing into Family Suite, Giving, or Accounting should disregard MinistryID.
How to set up a single sign-on MinistryID account for access to all Ministry Brands applications offered through ParishSOFT
- Once you have created the MinistryID account, you may use it for any of the applications that show the 'Login With MinistryID' button. see image below
- The first time you use this MinistryID account with any application, you will be prompted to link the new MinistryID with your existing credentials for that application. After that, you may simply click the MinistyrID button to log into that application.
Once all of your applications are linked to your MinistryID account, you may go from one application to the next without entering any credentials as long as you remain logged into your MinistryID account.
ParishSOFT Giving
When you access the ParishSOFT Giving Site, you will see the normal Log In options as well as the MinistryID button.
- To create a new MinistryID or to link ParishSOFT Family Suite with your existing MinistryID, click the Login With MinistryID button.
If you have not already done so, create a MinistyID account by clicking Create Account.
If you already have a MinistryID account you must link your ParishSOFT Giving login credentials with the MinistryID account. After that, you may log in to ParishSOFT Giving using the MinistryID account.

Enter your credentials for ParishSOFT Giving into MinistryID.
- They may already fill in for you. If so, continue to the next step.
- Click the Link button.
- When the new window displays the Terms of Service, click the Checkbox and Submit.
- When the new window displays, click Next. You will now be able to simply use your MinistryID account to log in going forward.
ParishSOFT Family Suite
When you access the ParishSOFT Giving Site, you will see the normal Log In options as well as the MinistryID button.
- To create a new MinistryID or to link ParishSOFT Family Suite with your existing MinistryID, click the Login With MinistryID button.
If you have not already done so, create a MinistyID account by clicking Create Account.
If you already have a MinistryID account you must link your ParishSOFT Family Suite login credentials with the MinistryID account. After that, you may log in to ParishSOFT Family Suite using the MinistryID account.

Enter your credentials for ParishSOFT Family Suite into MinistryID.
- They may already fill in for you. If so, continue to the next step.
- Click the Link button.
- When the new window displays the Terms of Service, click I Agree.
- You will receive a confirmation window that you have successfully linked your Family Suite and MinistryID accounts. Click Done and now you are able to simply use your MinistryID account to log in going forward.
ParishSOFT Accounting
When you access ParishSOFT Accounting, you will see the normal Log In options as well as the MinistryID button.
- To create a new MinistryID or to link ParishSOFT Accounting with your existing MinistryID, click the Login With MinistryID button.
If you have not already done so, create a MinistyID account by clicking Create Account.
If you already have a MinistryID account you must link your ParishSOFT Accounting login credentials with the MinistryID account. After that, you may log in to ParishSOFT Accounting using the MinistryID account.

Enter your credentials for ParishSOFT Accounting into MinistryID.
- They may already fill in for you. If so, continue to the next step.
- Click the Link button.
- You will receive a confirmation window that you have successfully linked your Accounting and MinistryID accounts. Click OK and now you are able to simply use your MinistryID account to log in going forward.
Create a MinistryID Account
- If you do not have a MinistryID account, click the Create Account link at the bottom of the screen where it says, "New here? Create account."
- Now fill in the information as prompted. You will enter your email address and a valid password.
- The password must have:
- at least 7 characters
- lower case letters
- upper case letters
- numbers
