How to change your organization's name or address in ParishSOFT Giving
- Click the Gear action button in the top right corner of the page and click the Settings card (see image above).
- Scroll down to access the Account Services section on the bottom left.
- In the Account Services section, select either Change my DBA or legal name or Change my address.
If you are looking to add or change depository bank accounts, we do not recommend using the options in the Account Services section. Please see How to change or add a bank account in ParishSOFT Giving.
Changing your DBA or legal name
- Once you select Change my DBA or legal name from the Account Services section, a name change form will display.
- Fill out the form as prompted.
- As prompted next, upload one of the following documents:
- Updated IRS paperwork showing the new Legal Name and Tax Identification Number (TIN) such as updated 501c3
If only changing your "Doing Business As" name (DBA) then one of the following can be used: - Business License
- Board Meeting Minutes
- Updated pre-printed voided check or bank letter
- Updated Article of Incorporation
- Updated IRS paperwork showing the new Legal Name and Tax Identification Number (TIN) such as updated 501c3
- Click Send.

Changing your address
- Once you select Change my address from the Account Services section, the Address Change Request Form will display.
- Fill in the fields as prompted.
- Per the next prompt, upload one of the following documents:
- Utility Bill showing the new address.
- Updated legal entity paperwork showing the new address.
If Mailing Address Only: - Screenshot of the website with the new address.
- Email from an email address on file (i.e. tied to an existing manager account in the system) listing the new address.
- Click Send.
