How the software determines which email to use when emailing students and parents
Students
When used for emailing students, the software looks to see if there is an email address populated in the member details for each student and, if so, uses it.
Parents
This flowchart shows how the program selects which parent's email address to use.
- If the parent is not linked to the student, the software uses the family email.
- If the parent is linked to the student and the parent's email is populated, it uses the parent's email addresses.
- If the parent is linked to the student but the parent's email is not populated, it uses the family email.
