How to add a shortcode and how they are used
A shortcode is a shortened number that your donors can use to text a donation. Having a shortcode can be helpful to parishes who are looking to encourage more Text Giving.
Before you request a shortcode, there are a few things you should know:
- You cannot customize a shortcode. There are two numbers available per organization, from which you may choose one. The 2 shortcodes available: 45777 or 45888
- A shortcode costs $100/per month.
- Requests for a shortcode must go through ParishSOFT Support in the form of a support ticket and will be assigned to Giving Team Lead.
