2nd Quarter 2022 941 update

The IRS has made changes to the 941 form. When the new form is available in the software you will see a notification in the release notes. The form should be available early/mid July.


Note: The form is due to the IRS at the end of the month following the end of the quarter. The second quarter 941 is normally due July 31st. 


The new form may need to be edited by your organization based on your individual reporting requirements. ParishSOFT Support offers assistance in utilizing the software. However, the support staff is not qualified to answer tax-related questions.  If you are unsure what to report, contact the IRS or a tax professional. Instructions for the latest forms can be found on the IRS website.

The new form will be included in the release scheduled for early in the third quarter.

Important Note: If you edit the 941 forms you will need to:

  • Update subtotals and totals associated with the edited item. Edits will not update subtotals or totals on the 941 form. 
  • Save a copy of the edited form.
    • Updating the 941 does NOT update the data within ParishSOFT Accounting.   You should save the PDF for your records, as ALL edits will be lost when you close the 941 screen.
