Only students who are already listed in the Family Directory may be added to a class. There are several acceptable instances where students are enrolled in two classes in the same term such as first grade and communion prep or eighth grade and confirmation prep. An alert message will display if a student is already enrolled in another class in the same term, but you may still proceed.
How to add a student to a class through the Classes page
- Select Classes & Sessions from the Navigation Bar:
- Select the class to which you want to add the student:
- Click the Add Student button:
- Begin to type in the student's name and when you see it listed, click the name:
- Select the grade and update the enrollment date as necessary.
- The grade options are populated when you first create the class.

Important: If you are adding a student to a special class in addition to their normal class (such as adding them to a first communion prep class in addition to their normal Sunday school class, you will get a message that the student is already enrolled in the term. This message is for informational purposes only.
