How to print checks from a previous unsuccessful attempt or to clear the queue of checks which were already printed, spoiled, or voided
Also described as, Checks still showing in the queue to print but were already printed. Or, A voided check is still showing in the queue.
When you click on the Checks Icon, this message will display if you did not mark and submit the option after a check run for Yes, I clicked the Print icon, and Check(s) printed correctly.
Even when checks did print correctly, if this option was not selected/submitted, you will get the above message. This message will also display if you marked the option, I didn't print any checks because your PDF never displayed when you printed checks.
To clear the check from the queue:
- When you go to the checks screen and get the message, There are checks available for reprinting..., click OK.
- Click the checkbox to the left of only the check number you want to remove from the queue (making sure there is a checkmark in the box) and click Print Selected. (all other checks, if any, will not have the box checked to print)
- This will usually show a PDF of the check. If so, since you have already printed and cleared the check, just close out of the PDF. If a PDF of the check does not display, it will not matter, go to the next step.
- At the screen that asks, 'Did checks print OK?' mark Yes, I clicked the Print icon and Check(s) printed correctly.' Then click Submit.
This will clear out the 'checks to be printed' queue.
Note: Clearing the queue will not affect your accounts. It will simply remove those checks from the Queue of checks that need to be reprinted.
