How to sort the Bill List strictly by bill number
Currently, the Bill List presorts the list by AP account and then by bill number and there is no way to override this from within the software.
The Bill List report can be exported to a CSV file then sorted by bill number. Select the report and choose the preview option. Then export the report as a CSV file (this is the best format for sorting in Excel) and save it to your local drive.
Do not choose to open the report in a new window from within the software. Instead, find the saved file by browsing your hard drive and open it; it should come up in Excel (if not, right-click the file and choose Open With, Excel). Once in Excel, you can sort by Bill Number.
