PSFS Family Directory - Family List: How to delete a member from the family record

You must have Family Directory View/ Delet e permissions tied to Staff Record to delet e a member from the family record.

How to d elet e a member from the family record

  1. Click Family List to display the Family List page.

  2. Select the name of the family that has the member you want to delet e.

  3. Select the Member Details tab. Each family member's record is presented on its own sub-tab.

    • Select the tab of the member you want to delet e.

    • Click Edit Details to put the record in edit mode

    • At the bottom of the tab, click Delete, located in the bottom-right corner of the tab.  You are prompted to confirm the deletion:

    • Click OK to proceed.

Note: Per Data Integrity policy, we recommend exporting the record to its own family and then just unregister this new 'family' from your church. Either way, the sacramental information is preserved.
