How to determine if the correct taxes are being withheld
ParishSOFT Accounting is populated with new Federal and State tax rates when the new tax tables are released. The tax rates cannot be altered by the church.
- If you believe that taxes are being calculated incorrectly verify that the employee has the correct information in their record. This information may be found in Payroll → Employees → (pull up the employee) → Tax Data.
- Feel free to use an online tax calculator to see how an employee's tax withholding compares to these other sources. There are several online payroll tax calculator websites to choose from.
