PSA L&P - Reports: What does "YTD Actual" mean on a report pulled for the prior month?

What does "YTD Actual" mean on a report pulled for the prior month?

When printing a Statement in ParishSOFT Accounting as of the month ending ... the YTD Actual figure is the balance as of the selected month during the selected fiscal year.

If "December during fiscal year ending 6/30/2018 - Current Fiscal Year" were selected, as shown in the Configure Report screenshot above, the YTD actual numbers would reflect the Balance as of December of 2017.

YTD Last year is the ending balance as of the chosen month one year ago.

Therefore, one would expect the YTD Actual for an Account on the Statement of activities using the above criteria to match the same Account's Balance on an Account Balance Report dated through 12/31/2017.
