How to tell if the option for the church to merge families is enabled

  1. Log in to the ParishSOFT Family Suite for that diocese.
  2. Click on Administration → Module Settings.
  3. Under Census, select Merge.
  4. Look for the option that begins with, Allow parish administrators to grant merges.  If the Check-box is checked it means the diocese allows access. Unchecked means the diocese restricts access and the diocese does merges. whodoesmerges.jpg
