If a staff record shows "unknown" as the position and you see the error “Primary position cannot be removed,” this article shows how to fix it by selecting and reordering the correct position.
- Check the box next to the desired position in the list. The position should then move directly below "unknown."
- Drag and drop the correct position so that it is above "unknown."
- Un-check unknown
- Click save
