Using your Stored MFA Recovery Code to Log in

This article contains instructions on using your saved Recovery Code if you cannot access your preferred method of Multi-Factor Authentication. This code should have been stored safely when MFA was initially enabled for your user account. 

Note: If you do not have the Recovery Code from when you set up MFA, please contact Support.

 

Follow these steps to reset MFA for your ParishSOFT Accounting profile:

  1. Log in as Usual
    • Visit the ParishSOFT Accounting login screen.
    • Enter your Email and select Continue.
    • Enter your password and select Continue.
  2. Select Try Another Method.

  1. Select Recovery Code.

  1. Enter the Recovery Code you saved when you set up MFA.
    • Click Continue.

  1. Copy the new Recovery Code generated and check the I have safely recorded this code checkbox.
    • Click Continue.
