In ParishSOFT Families, you can auto-fill certain family names based on family members.
These auto-fill fields include:
- Formal Mailing Name
- Informal Name
- Formal Salutation
- Informal Salutation
Important: Member records must be fully completed for this information to be populated correctly.
The three roles that will populate the auto-fill family names are Head, Husband, and Wife.
- For one person or parent in a family, mark them as Head, and that person's information will be entered in the family record.
- For a couple, both the husband and the wife will be auto-filled. Be sure to label your members correctly so the auto-fill works.
- Be sure to fill in the following fields for the Head, Husband, and Wife member records:
- Title
- First Name
- Nick Name (if appropriate)
- Last Name
