First Time Logging in to ParishSOFT New Platform? Start Here!

Important Notice: This article applies to the New ParishSOFT Platform. If your diocese hasn’t migrated yet, explore our knowledge base for relevant resources.

If you're reading this article, your Organization has updated ParishSOFT Family Suite to our new platform, ParishSOFT Unity! Congratulations! 

 

When you log in to ParishSOFT at the URL you've come to know, yourdiocese.parishsoftfamilysuite.com, the system will walk you through important steps to migrate your user account to the New Platform. This process is required. 

 

Below outlines the steps for Organization Administrators and Limited Permission users of ParishSOFT Family Suite. 

 

Organization Admin Log in: 

When you first log in to ParishSOFT you will see the notice below. Log in with your Username and Password as normal, and prepare for next steps!

Upon a successful Log in, you will see the notice below:

Click "Log in to the new version of ParishSOFT" to continue. 

 

You will be directed to Reset your password. This is required.

On the plus side, resetting your password is now easier than ever! Simply choose a secure password that activates all the listed criteria with a green check mark as seen below:

Click done to move on. You will be automatically redirected to the Family Suite Home Page. That's it! You are now ready to work in the new ParishSOFT Unity Platform as an Organization Administrator. 

Note: You can identify an Organization Admin account by the "Manage" module. It will always come last in the Module list for any Organization Administrator user account in the database.

Limited Permissions User Log in: 

The process for User Accounts with Limited Permissions is exactly the same as above.

The difference is that, when reaching the Family Suite Home Page, Limited Permission users do not have the "Manage" module available. 

Limited Permission user accounts are migrated to ParishSOFT Unity with the same permissions they had in the legacy platform. 

Below is an example of what a Limited Permissions user will see upon logging in after a successful migration:

If your organization utilizes the same email address for multiple users, each user must enter a unique email address in order to complete the user migration to ParishSOFT Unity.

The first user to log in with the shared email address with be the one and only user to claim that email address. All other users must pick a unique email address.
