How to assign a My Own Church username to a member (not staff)

A member can register for a username through My Own Church, but a parish staff can assign a username to a member on their own. Follow these steps to create a username and send a password to the member's email address.

The email will go to the member email address, not the family email address. 

  1. Go to the member record.
  2. Select the General tab.
  3. Click Edit Details.
  4. Type a username in the Username field.
  5. Click Save, then click Edit Details again.
  6. Click the key icon next to the username to generate a password email. The email will go to the address in the member's email (not the family email).
