How to assign a My Own Church username to a member (not staff)
A member can register for a username through My Own Church, but a parish staff can assign a username to a member on their own. Follow these steps to create a username and send a password to the member's email address.
The email will go to the member email address, not the family email address.
- Go to the member record.
- Select the General tab.
- Click Edit Details.
- Type a username in the Username field.
- Click Save, then click Edit Details again.
- Click the key icon next to the username to generate a password email. The email will go to the address in the member's email (not the family email).
