How to add a new bank account or how to switch banks

• If you are opening a new bank account you must add a new account number to your chart and mark it as a Bank Account. Give this new account a clear description in Accounts.
• If you are going to move funds from one bank account to another, you may follow the link to this help article.
• If your new bank account is going to be your primary account, from which you pay bills, you will want to update your user options default account.
• If you plan to print checks from the new bank account, you must set up the check layout.
