How to search for a member using the ID# from the Contribution Statement

When you print the Contribution Statements, you may notice a field called ID# which prints to the left of the Envelope Number field at the top right corner.

This number is called the DUID. If you have reason to search for which member has this DUID, you may do so as follows:

  1. Go into the Family Directory → Family List
  2. Clear the filter by selecting the funnel with the red x on it if it is there. If not, skip this step.

  3. Click the down-arrow under the words Family List. this will display all possible fields to search on. If it's not marked already, select the Family DUID option. Close the window.

  4. Now, in the Search field, type in the ID# from the statement. This should bring up the family with the DUID that matches. If you display the Family DUID on the grid, you will see the matching number. If not, you may click into the family and you will see it at the top of the family record when you click on the link to the Family.
