How to change the donor and/or amount in a posting of an open or review batch

1. To bring up the posting that you want to change, locate the batch card then click the Postings button.
2. Find the contribution or pledge in the batch postings page by scrolling through the records listed. Click the pencil icon to the left of the entry to edit the record.
   
3. The edited entry's donor, amount, check number, and memo posting information will display in the data entry fields. Click into each field you would like to update and enter the correct information.
4. Click the Save button to the right of the entry.

Note: if the amount is changed for one posting in a review batch, the batch will no longer be in balance. At that point, either another posting amount must also be changed or the batch detail record must be updated so the batch will balance.
