How to edit or view an existing 'body of statement'

This article assumes you already have an existing body of statement that you either want to edit or view. If you want to learn how to create a new Body of Statement, click the link.

  1. Navigate to the Donor Reports page.
    • On the Navigation Bar, expand Offering → Reports and select Donor.
    • On the Home → Offering page, select Donor from the Reports card.
  2. Once you are on the Donor Reports page, select Contribution Detail Statement Report from the report dropdown.
  3. Click the gear button (Configure) in the upper right corner of the page. Then select Contents.
  4. Scroll down to the Body of Statement field and to view or edit an existing 'body of statement', click the down-arrow and select the one you want. The text for that 'body of statement' will populate the text window below the label. (see image below)
    • If you simply want to review the text, you may close out of the Contents window by clicking Cancel at the bottom when you are done.
    • If you want to edit the contents, continue to the next instruction, #5.
    • To learn how to delete the selected 'body of statement,' continue to #6.

  5. To edit the text, click the edit button (mceclip0.png).
    • Click into the text and make your changes. Note: you must also change the Name. If you want to keep the name, just add a number at the end of it. It won't save unless it's been changed.
    • Save the changes then click Save & Close or Cancel out of the configure screen if you don't have other items to address there.

  6. To delete the text, click the delete button (mceclip2.png). If you are sure you want to delete it, click Yes to the confirmation prompt. The deletion will then be complete. You may now either select Cancel or Save & Close out of the configure screen to go back to the Contribution Detail Statement Report page.
