How to delete an open batch that has postings

• A closed batch may not be deleted and in order to remove the postings, a reversing batch must be created.
• A batch that has been flagged for review is still considered an open batch and you may follow the same instructions here to delete a flagged batch.
• A batch may not be deleted until all of the postings have been removed.
• Once all of the postings have been removed, the Delete button on the Batch Card will become active and you may click that to delete the Batch Detail record.

1. Navigate to the Batches page using one of the following methods:
   • From the Navigator Bar, select Batches.
     -or-
   • From the Batches Card, select Open.
     
2. If you don't see your batch, search for your batch.
3. Click the Postings button on the Batch card.
   
4. Close the Defaults panel by clicking the x.
   
5. Click the minus sign to the right of each posting until they have all been removed.
   
6. Go back to the Batch Card and click the red Delete Batch button.
