PSG Gear Button - ChMS Integration: How to use the Manual Send feature

How to use the Manual Send feature

In ChMS Integration, there is a feature called Manual Send.  This feature is for transactions that have not ever attempted to sync automatically.  Once this manual option is implemented, these transactions are put back into the integration queue which allows them to error out if there is a problem with the transaction.

Things to keep in mind when using this feature:

  • If you have already imported or manually entered transactions that are also on the Manual Send page, pushing them through manual send will create duplicates.
  • It's important to filter by the correct date range when looking for these transactions, but if there is a date within the range where no transaction appears prior to that date, it means that integration wasn't on at the time and there's nothing to send.
  • Once a transaction has been pushed from Manual Send, it will disappear from the Manual Send page.

In order to use Manual Send, do the following:

  1. Navigate to ChMS Integration and click on the  Manual Send tab.

  2. Filter by the date range of the transactions you think may have not integrated to see if they are there.
  3. If you have found the transactions you are looking for, you can either
    • choose Push All (which will push all the transactions in that date range into the integration queue),

    • or, you can choose the Action button to the right of the individual transaction you want and select Push ParishSOFT

    • From this menu, you can also choose View Donor if you think the donor still needs to be matched to a Family Suite record.
  4. Once you've made your selection, the transaction will disappear from the list.  You may see the record later on the Sync Errors page there was an issue during the sync attempt.
