Access the SEP Online Help Documentation

The online Help documentation is built into SEP, assisting you when and wherever you need it. The online documentation provides helpful "how-to" and reference information designed to help you get started learning to use SEP. After you feel comfortable with your understanding of how to use SEP, the Help provides a resource to answer specific questions you may have and to help you find a solution on your own.

Opening Page-Specific Help

Page-specific Help is targeted, context-sensitive information associated with a specific main page in SEP, such as the Individuals page and the Organizations page. Page-specific Help provides quick-reference information and straightforward explanations about elements on the page. For example, in a page-specific Help topic you will find short descriptions of individual controls on the page, such as buttons, menus, and options—just enough information to remind you of the purpose of a particular feature or control. If you need instructions on how to use a particular feature, page-specific Help topics include "how-to" links (in the Related Topics list at the bottom of the page). These links direct you to topics that provide step-by-step instructions for completing a particular task.

To open a page-specific Help topic, click this button on the page's toolbar: help icon.png.
