This article provides instructions for resetting a user's password in ParishSOFT’s Safe Environment Program (SEP), including required permissions and steps to initiate the reset and notify the user via email.
You must have Users > View/Modify/Delete permissions to reset a user's password.
- On the Home page, select the Settings tile to open the Settings page.
- Select the Users tile to open the Users page. This page lists the users in your organization.
- The page opens in grid view. To view the page in card view, click
in the toolbar.
- Find the user whose password you want to reset. Then, click their name link to open their profile.
- In the toolbar, click
(Reset Password).
- You are prompted to confirm the password reset request. Do one of the following:
- Click
to continue.
A message is displayed to inform you that the reset request was successful. The user will receive an email with instructions on how to reset their password. - Click
to cancel the request.
