This article shows you how to give a diocesan staff member with an active assignment to the diocese secure field access permissions for that assignment. With Secure Field access permissions enabled, the staff member can view and edit data on the Secure Information tab in Member Details.
You must have Diocesan Admin access rights assigned to your login credentials to perform this task.
- Click the Manage Staff tab to open the Staff List page.
- In the staff list, select the link of the desired staff member’s name to open his or her staff record.
- If the staff member has multiple assignments to an organization, make sure you choose the correct assignment.
- Click
to put the record in edit mode.
- Select the Access Rights tab. Then, select the Diocese Directory & Web Solutions subtab.
- In the Other Permissions group, select the Has Secure Field Access checkbox.
- Click

The selected staff member now has secure field access for the selected assignment.
In addition to having secure field access permissions, the staff person must have an active assignment to the diocese.
