Use this procedure to give a new assignment to an individual who is already in your staff list. If the individual is not currently on| your staff, you must add them. To do this, go to How to Add a New Staff Member.
- In the Organization list, select the organization in which you are assigning the staff member's access rights and permissions.
- Select the Administration module from the left Navigation bar.
- Click
the Manage List tab to navigate to the Staff List page. - In the Staff List, select the link under the desired staff member’s name to open their record.
- Select the Assignments tab.
- This tab shows the staff member's current assignments.
- This tab shows the staff member's current assignments.
- Click

to switch to edit mode.
- To add a new assignment, click
. - The Organization Search window opens. The top portion of the window contains fields that enable you to search for the organization to which you want to give the staff member an assignment. The bottom portion of the window lists organizations that you can select directly.
- Do one of the following:
- To search for the organization, enter your search criteria in one or more of the search fields. Click
to display a list of organizations that match your criteria. Select the organization from the list, and then click
. - To select the organization to which you want to assign the member, choose it from the list. Then, click
.
- To search for the organization, enter your search criteria in one or more of the search fields. Click
You return to the Assignments tab. The new assignment appears in the Assignment Details section. If the member has multiple assignments, the Primary Assignment column shows which assignment is the primary one.
Change the Primary Assignment
If you need to change the primary assignment:
- Select the checkbox next to the assignment you want to make the primary one.
- You are prompted to confirm the change. Click
to save the change.
