The table below lists and describes the filter settings used to configure Label and List reports.
Filter Option
Description
Term
Lists all terms in your religious education program. The previously selected term is the default selection.
To change the term, select the desired one from the list.
People
These settings let you select the people you want to generate labels or lists for:
Students: students only.
Volunteers: volunteers only
Both: both students and volunteers.
Order By
These settings let you specify how the report content should be ordered in the report.
Family: orders the contents in alphabetic order by the individual's family last name.
Birth Date: orders content in report in chronological order by the individual's date of birth.
Class: orders the the content in alphabetic order by class name.
Grade: sorts the content in numeric order by grade.
Sessions: sorts the content in alphabetic order by session name.
Classes Filter
These settings let you specify how classes are listed in the report:
All Classes in Term (default): includes all classes in the selected term.
By Grade: generates a report for students and/or volunteers in specific grades. After you select this setting, the filter displays the Grade dropdown list from which you can select all grades or specific ones.
By Session: generate a report for students and/or volunteers in specific sessions. After you select this setting, the filter displays the Sessions dropdown list from which you can select all sessions or specific ones.
By Department: lets you generate a report for students and/or volunteers in specific departments. After you select this setting, the filter displays the Department dropdown list from which you can select all departments or specific ones.
Selected Classes: lets you generate a report for students and/or volunteers in specific classes. After you select this setting, the filter displays the Class dropdown list from which you can select all classes or specific ones.
Grade
This filter is a conditional or dependent filter linked to the selection made in the Class Filter (see previous entry) dropdown list.
When you select the By Grade setting in the Classes Filter list, the system displays the Grade dropdown list, which contains the grades configured for your program. In the list, select the grade or grades to include in the report.
Sessions
This filter is a conditional or dependent filter linked to the selection made in the Class Filter (see previous entry) dropdown list.
When you select the By Session setting in the Classes Filter list, the system displays the Sessions dropdown list, which contains the sessions configured for your program. In the list, select the session or sessions to include in the report.
Department
This filter is a conditional or dependent filter linked to the selection made in the Class Filter (see previous entry) dropdown list.
When you select the By Department setting in the Classes Filter list, the system displays the Department dropdown list, which contains the departments configured for your program. In the list, select the department or departments to include in the report.
Selected Class
This filter is a conditional or dependent filter linked to the selection made in the Classes Filter (see previous entry) dropdown list.
When you select the Selected Classes setting in the ClassesFilter list, the system displays the Class dropdown list, which contains the classes configured for your program. In the list, select the class or classes to include in the report.
Family Mailing Label Format
These settings apply to the Mailing Label reports only.
These settings let you select how the individual's name should display on the mailing labels:
Family Formal Salutation (default): uses the family's formal salutation as specified in the Family Details record in Family Directory. Examples: Mr. and Mrs. Belchamp, Dr. Pfister, Ms. Dalloway.
Family Formal Mailing name: uses the family's formal mailing name as specified in the Family Directory Family Details record. Examples: Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Davis, Dr. and Mrs. Darren Copperfield.
Family Informal Mailing Name: uses the family's informal name as specified in the Family Details record in Family Directory. Examples: Jerome and Norma Belchamp.
Youngest Child: uses the name of the youngest child as specified in the Family Details record in Family Directory.
Oldest Child: uses the name of the oldest child in the family as specified in the Family Details record in Family Directory.
Name Tag Format
These settings apply to the Name Tag report only.
These settings let you select how the individual's name should display on the name tags:
Full Name: shows the individual's first and last name. Examples: Molly Carpenter, Fernando Arreola, Carolyn Bessemer.
First Name: shows the individual's first name only. Examples: Joanne, Amir, Han.
Title + Last Name: shows the individual's title followed by their last name. Examples: Dr. Wong, Ms. Fenderson, Mr. Van.
