Updating Batch Details in an Open Batch

This article explains how to update the count and amount fields in an open batch. These updates can be made whether the batch is still open or marked for review. However, once a batch is closed, these fields can no longer be edited.

For best practices on maintaining data accuracy during batch processing, refer to the article Ensure Data Integrity when Posting a Batch.

  1. Navigate to the Batches page:
    • In the Navigator Bar, select Batches.
      -or-
    • In the Batches Card, select Open.
  2. Select the fund following the instructions in the article, Search for a batch.
  3. From the Batches page, click the batch name to open its details.
  4. From the Postings page, click batch details icon.png to open the record.
  5. Identify fields that need updating.
    • If the count or amount is incorrect, a red “X” will appear to the right of the field.
    • To the left of the field, you’ll see the actual count or amount from the postings—this is the value the system expects.

  6. Make necessary corrections.
    • Click into any field that needs updating.
    • Enter the correct number.
  7. Click save.png to apply the updates.
