Overview of Online Registration
You can give My Own Church (MOC) users access to the online registration feature in the Religious Education module. When enabled, an Online Registration button will display in the My Education tab of the My Own Church portal. This button allows users to view and register for any class open for registration.
Enabling Online Registration
Follow these steps to enable the Online Registration feature:
- Navigate to Religious Education in your portal.
- Click on Settings Gear in the top right corner and select General Religious Education Settings.
- Toggle the REGISTRATION radio button to the “On” position.
Note: Turning on the Registration button allows for members to register for sessions in any term open for registration.
Managing Online Class Registrations
Once online registration is enabled and classes are made available, church administrators must manage these registrations. This involves reviewing and processing class enrollments submitted through the Online Registration feature. Ensure that:
• Classes are configured correctly with appropriate terms and registration settings.
• Administrators monitor new registrations and follow up as necessary.
Tip: Regularly check the registration dashboard for updates and reports.

Below is an example of how the Online Registration button and page appear to members:
- Under Quick Links, select My Own Church

Members navigate to the My Education tab.
- The page displays available sessions, terms, and registration details for members to complete their registration.
Once this has been turned on and classes have been made available online, the church administrator must manage these online class registrations.
