If a staff member logs in and only sees the My Own Church page, it usually means they don’t have the correct permissions or assignments. This article explains what’s missing and how to fix it so they can access the full staff features.
If a staff member logs in and only sees the My Own Church page, follow these steps to restore full staff access:
- Navigate to the Administration module and select Manage Staff.
- Click the individual's name to open his or her staff assignment record. The record opens to the Access Rights tab.
- Click Edit Details.
- Ensure the staff member has a Primary Assignment selected. This tells the system which organization they’re working with.
- Confirm that Grant Login Privileges is checked. Without this, the staff member won’t be able to access administrative features.
- Ensure ParishSOFT Access is enabled. This permits them to use the staff-side tools.
- After updating these settings, have the staff member log out and then log back in. They should now see the full staff view.
