Editing goal groups within your fund setup allows you to keep your fundraising structure organized and aligned with current objectives. Whether you're updating group names, adjusting visibility, or managing active statuses, this guide walks you through the steps to efficiently modify goal groups in the Goals tab. Follow the instructions below to ensure your changes are accurately reflected and accessible to users assigning parishes to specific goals.
- Navigate to the Funds page:
- In the Navigator Bar, select Funds.
-or- - In the Funds Card, select Go to Funds.
- In the Navigator Bar, select Funds.
- Select the fund following the instructions in this article, How to search for a fund.
- Select the fund's name link to open the fund's record.
- Click the Goals tab to open the Goals Setup page. Then, in the upper-right corner, click
open the Goal Groups window.
- Select the group you want to edit by clicking
to the left of the name of the goal
- To change the name of the group, type the new name in the Name field.
- To change the status of the group (for example, from active to inactive), click inside the Is Active checkbox.
Important: The Is Active checkbox controls whether the goal group is shown in the Group dropdown list on the Goals tab. If you want users to be able to select the group and assign parishes to it, be sure to select the checkbox. The checkmark means the option is selected.
