ParishCast Users - View Users: How to add current users to another group

How to add current users to another group

You can add users to a group individually, in bulk with an import, or in bulk on the view users page. If you are adding the user to a group individually or in bulk on the view users page and the group does not already exist, add the new group first.

  1. Add a user to a group individually: How to add a group to a user's record
  2. Add a group of users in bulk using an import: Note: Make sure to use the same unique ID to add to the existing user in order to prevent duplicate users. How to add or update a large number of users at once via import (Bulk)
  3. Add a group of users in bulk from the view users page:
    • Go to Users → View Users

    • Mark the users you want to add to the group: If you want to add all users mark the box on the left side of the column headings
    • In the Select dropdown choose Add Users to Group

NOTE: You can also use the New Group button to add the selected users to a new group, but you will not be able to name the group. The system will generate a name for you. You will then be able to edit the name.
