How to use colors to give your calendar a visual that shows in which building the event will be held

You may add color coding through the use of properties. One example of using a property to add color coding would be through giving a different color to each building. This is not the only way. You could instead give a different color coding to each ministry, or to each room in a building, or to any other property category. In the example below, we use the property category 'Buildings" but you can use a different property category.  To see a more broad example of using color coding, click here.

If you would like the building where the event is held to pop on your calendar, you could use the property color option to add that effect.

  1. Simply add a property category called Buildings and add all of the building names (properties) to that category. Then, color-code each building.

  2. When adding or editing an event, select the property for the building where the event will be held.

    • Remember, if you want to add more than one property to an event, you must depress the Ctrl-key and select each additional property.
    • The calendar will reflect the building by displaying a color dot to the left of the event on the calendar.
